Fulton would take opportunities to create promotional films across the world for various travel companies, and during the process would shoot extra footage to create his own personal interpretive documentaries of the countries and people he encountered. This collection provides a handful of those shorter offerings, in addition to the original commissioned films.

INCA LIGHT, an impressionistic film shot in Cuzco, Machu Picchu, and outlying villages of the Andean center of Peru’s Inca Empire. Inca Light captures in a fast fluid motion impressions of life today that refer us to the past society that has also dwelled here.

MOONCHILD is Fulton's first impressions of Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. While on assignment for Summit Films and Trans World Airlines, he co-directed NZURI - EAST AFRICA. Beginning with Genesis, the film follows the progress of civilization through to modern day Nairobi. Biblical themes combine with pulsating African music, wild animal sounds, and vivid imagery. Unusual juxtapositions of Bob Fulton’s quick cuts and Brown’s big lens shots of mega fauna and tribal dances mesmerize viewers.

Fulton had an ongoing relationship with the advertising agency Young and Rubicam, where he was hired to shoot one of many minute-long TV spots for Eastern Airlines, promoting their flights to the Caribbean. Directed by Denis Powers and narrated by Orson Welles, THE WINGS OF MAN is a dizzying encapsulation of vibrant Caribbean life. Eastern Airlines also produced a longer film reminiscent of Fulton's other work, MER DE ANTILLES, allowing viewers to experience that same culture on the ground level.

This restoration, conducted by scanning Fulton's personal 16mm archival prints in 2018, allows viewers to experience the films digitally in 4K for the first time. Color has been faithfully restored while being optimized for digital projection and online viewing.
